Start with the whole property.
A useful landscape begins with ordinary things: the door most often used, the afternoon sun, a tree worth keeping, and the path from the kitchen to the grill. Those details shape the layout before individual materials are chosen.
Some projects need a complete redesign. Others need a better connection between existing spaces. We review what can stay and what needs to change, then work through planting, circulation, drainage, and construction as part of the same plan.

Residential Landscape Design
Courtyards & compact spaces
Planting, seating, and paths sized for a smaller yard. We leave space to open doors, pull out chairs, and reach the garden beds.
Planting & lawns
Trees, shrubs, seasonal planting, and lawn areas selected around exposure, mature size, and the amount of upkeep the landscape will need.
Pools & outdoor rooms
Pool terraces, kitchens, pergolas, and fire features planned with enough space to move between them. Utility routes and access are considered before surfaces are finished.
Landscape installation
Grading, irrigation, planting, and hardscape construction carried out from the agreed plan. We review site conditions and access before deciding the order of work.

An established tree or a well-used patio can be a good starting point. Bring a few photographs and a short list of what feels awkward about the current yard. A survey or dimensions are helpful when available.

Yes. GO Designs handles residential landscape design and installation. We discuss the property and proposed changes, then agree on the drawings and construction work the project needs.
Can an existing yard be redesigned in stages?
Yes, where the site and work allow it. Plan drainage, utility routes, and future construction access from the start so later phases do not require removing new paving or planting.
Does a landscape project have to include a pool?
No. The scope may be planting, a courtyard, a lawn, a patio, or a combination of outdoor features. A pool is one possible part of a landscape, not a requirement.
